Lee-Ling Chew

Master’s in Professional Accounting (MPA)

I have been homeschooling both of my children since they were in pre-K using Singapore Math® for their math curriculum. I also used additional challenging math curriculums (Beast Academy and Art of Problem Solving) with my math-gifted son. I love math and have been tutoring math since high school. I will sharpen your children’s math skills in just a few sessions with the world’s leading math curriculum – Singapore Math®.

Caleb Anderson

Math Major at UT Austin

I was born and raised in Texas. I want to be a community college teacher in mathematics as well as a counselor. After all, the best teachers are counselors too. I am also the firstborn of six children from a homeschooling family, so I have significant experience teaching younger age groups.

Dalila Calderón

Bachelor of Science in Multidisciplinary Studies with a focus in Early Childhood-6th grade

I graduated in 2019 from the Texas Tech University. I look forward to getting to know each student and discover their own unique way of learning. It is my goal to meet the needs of every student and teach the way they learn best!

Pranav Venkatesh

I love learning and teaching. Learning gives one power and like Yoda I hope to pass it on to anyone I teach. From advanced calculus to computer science to advanced chemistry and physics, and beyond, I’ve always been excited to learn and understand more. Also, I play competitive chess in my spare time.

Julian Li

Bachelor in English Education, Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction

I graduated from UT Austin with a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction at Education College. I love teaching. It not only fits my personality, but also is the most rewarding thing to see my students make progress. I hold the “Texas teaching certificate for mathematics 4-8” and have 8 years of teaching experience. I worked at Asian American Cultural Center after school program tutoring math from first graders to fifth graders. I love to utilize manipulatives, visuals, and bar models to help students understand math concepts and enjoy the learning process.

Kristie Malley

Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, concentration in mathematics; Master’s of Science in literacy

I have been a teacher for 13 years. I graduated from the State University of New York at New Paltz. Two years later I graduated from Long Island University. I taught for 10 years in 4th grade while living in New York, 5 of which I taught math using the Singapore Math Program. This is now my third year living in Austin and I have been teaching 1st grade since my move here. I am passionate about learning and math and hope to foster that love with my students!

Mimi Byun

Master’s in English

I have been teaching multiple subjects across various grades. I taught fourth grade at a private school for gifted children when I encountered Singapore Math curriculum and promptly began my training. A graduated from UT Austin with a Masters degree in English. I love critical thinking and making learning fun.

Macintyre Syrett

National Merit Scholar | 6 Years On Math Team

I am currently a graduating senior in high school, and I plan to double major in Meteorology and Mathematics at the University of Oklahoma in Fall 2020. My solid foundation in math came from using Singapore Math in my elementary years. In my middle school and high school years, Art of Problem Solving curriculum prepared me for math competitions while I was in AAH Math Team for six years. I have taken math through Differential Equations. I have always loved math and have worked as a tutor for three years.

Swapna Pogula

Master’s in Business Administration

I am information security analyst. I taught 2nd and 3rd graders abacus for a couple of months. I always have a passion for math and Singapore math excites me towards this move.

Arulmani Rajendran

Bachelor in Home Science, Master’s in Social Work, and Master’s in Industrial and Organizational Psychology

I started my career in HR followed by starting my family. Transitioning between school levels is possible for me as I extensively support the education of my three children through the years. I also have numerous volunteer service hours in school classrooms across the past 10+ years. I have privately tutored elementary and middle school level Math and English in the recent years, and worked in Special Needs Education at the High School level as well. Since our move to Round Rock Texas, I have worked as a Guest Educator with RRISD, and a ESL Educational Assistant at a local elementary school.  Working with children toward their enrichment in a positive manner is my approach and attempt.

MastPerfect SAT math score | 2 Years On Science Team

I am a rising senior who loves exploring the world of math, science, and music. As a member of my school’s Science Bowl team, I have learned to study calculus, chemistry and many topics with passion. I earned perfect math score on two recent SAT exams.  In my spare time, I compose and arrange musical pieces.
